FAQ

How far in advance should we book?
Most couples reserve 9 to 15 months ahead, earlier for peak summer dates on the Cape & Islands.

How do we reserve our date?
A signed agreement and a 50% retainer secure your date. Dates are held in the order they’re confirmed.

When will we receive our photographs?
A sneak peek within five days, and your full gallery in eight to ten weeks.

Can we add film photography or Super 8 later?
Yes, with at least one month’s notice before your wedding day.

Do you work with a second shooter?
A second shooter is included only with the Photography & Super 8 collection. For Photography or Super 8 alone, one can be added.

Do you travel?
Often. Travel within New England is included. Weddings further afield are quoted individually.

Do you edit the images?
Yes, every image in your gallery is edited by hand, by me. It’s one of the reasons I take on only a few weddings each year.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Some of the most beautiful frames happen in fog and rain. We’ll plan a backup during our timeline call, and I’ll come prepared.

What if something happens and you can’t be there?
In the rare case of an emergency, a trusted colleague I’ve worked with steps in, with your timeline and shot list in hand.
